despite the cicadas

Dear Readers,

Does anyone feel like it’s still 2020 in some ways? Like, when the cicadas are so loud that we have to yell to hear each other on the farm? Or like when I found two cicadas INSIDE my pants???

Despite the cicadas, which are mostly just annoying and completely harmless, it’s been a wonderful season so far.

I’ve been really feeling the warmth from our Baltimore community lately. Our amazing photographer friend Julie has been to the farm a few times this year- she’s so in love with the flowers, it makes me love them even more!

We’re slowwwly starting to open back up for events. You can visit the flower fields during our Farm Tours or our Dahlia class!

Mostly I’m just feeling so grateful for all the people who make this farm run and who buy our precious blooms. Cicadas be darned, it’s gonna be a great summer!

I wish you all pants that close tightly at the ankles to ward off all bugs.
