trust the process

Dear Readers,

This is a Spring unlike any other for me! We bought our own land in March.

Ever since, I’ve been spinning in a whirlwind of making plans and meeting contractors at the new farm, while also harvesting, delivering, and onboarding our awesome new team at the current farm.

I have a piece of paper tacked to the wall that says, Ted Lasso style, “TRUST THE PROCESS.” It’s the only way I can submit to this wild adventure of moving our farm without going nuts!

I’ll share more about our plans for the new farm soon. I want to get our projects there underway before I jinx them!

In the meantime, we’d love to see you at our upcoming events, virtually or in person! Here’s the roundup:

Dahlias (online class): 4/13

Plant Shop and Farm Tours (in person): 5/14 and 5/15

Lisianthus (online class): 5/18

Celosia & Amaranth (online class): 6/29

Zinnias & Sunflowers (online class): 7/13

Ranunculus & Anemones (online class): 9/21

Crop Planning for Flower Farmers (online class): 11/13

I’m also happy to come to you- if you have a school group, garden club, or event that you’d like me to speak at about flower farming, please get in touch at butterbeefarm@gmail.com. I really enjoy speaking to groups about farming and growing flowers!

Huge thanks to Julie Hove Anderson for these photos. I wish you all a daffodil!
