2023 online classes

Dear Readers,

Bringing our new farm to life is super fun (most of the time), but I’ve been busy in the office too. I’m excited to share our 2023 online class schedule! I’ll be teaching classes for gardeners as well as for commercial growers (aspiring and current).

Taking our classes is a great way to support our farm as we build infrastructure to grow flowers, plus they’re super info packed. Check ‘em out below!

Online Gardening Classes

This series of gardening classes is all about Butterbee techniques, adapted for your home garden!

Classes are recorded, so no worries if you can’t make the live versions.

Here are some kind words about our gardening classes:

“I felt like the path forward for my garden was clear and full of actionable next steps. Laura Beth has a very welcoming, open and informative teaching style, and the intimate class size meant that all questions were addressed.”

“Informative, practical and essential for an aspiring grower like me.”

"I have attended multiple classes with Butterbee Farm. Laura Beth is an incredibly knowledgeable, and this wealth of information is evident in all of her classes!”

Online Class: Building Butterbee (Again)

Moving to our new farm meant building our business all over again, but this time- we had 10 years of experience under our belts.

We couldn’t have done it without mentorship from other growers. In that spirit, this online class will lift the curtain on how we got it done, from financials to irrigation systems.

This NEW class is meant for aspiring or current commercial growers! We’re going to get deep into the weeds of how we built our new farm, from funding to infrastructure.

Online Class: Crop Planning

Crop planning minimizes risk, organizes our operations, and helps us improve our production year after year.

I’ve taught this class twice a year for five years, and it sells out every time! Learn our crop planning secrets to success!

Here are some kind words about our Crop Planning class:

“This course was the missing piece in my flower farming education so far. Laura Beth gave me the overall system for planning my space and drilled all the way down to the formulas used to calculate yields and measure profitability.”

“Laura Beth is so open with everything about her business - the good, the ugly, the nitty-gritty details - which is something you can't get from a reading a book! “

“As a new grower, I have been able to find many resources about regenerative practices, how to ensure that I am able to produce healthy blooms, and many of the "how-tos" of flower growing. One area that has always felt out of reach to me is figuring out how to plan a season, how to know what to plant and when on a larger scale than in a home garden. This class filled that need for me by providing all of that information in an organized way that kept it from being too overwhelming. Thank you so much for providing it.”
