Dear Readers,

Below, find a little virtual tour of the farm in late August! Also, registration is now open for two upcoming events at the farm- Bouquet Saturday (a tour of the farm and flowers to take home) and a photography class at the farm, taught by the talented Lindsay Anne Belliveau!

Asters! Our first time growing them. Pretty!

Buckwheat- a summer cover crop.

Gomphrena. The blooms make a lovely, relaxing herbal tea.

Bronze amaranth. Bugs love the leaves, but we strip the leaves before selling the bronze blooms so we don't mind the bugs!

Syphide celosia. This eerie color isn't selling to florists as well as I'd like, but it looked amazing next to the bright red zinnias in our CSA shares last week.

The digger wasp is our friend! It helps control the Japanese beetle population.
