surprise
Dear Readers,
Maybe after the first crazy years of starting a business, things start to get into a rhythm. Or maybe we were just lucky this year. Whatever the reason, we've had a really, really good season so far.
As the word spreads about us, we get more visitors to the farm. And everyone who comes is SO NICE. I always feel like I want to be friends with our guests. It's a constant reminder of why we farm- what a rush, to see the looks of wonder on people's faces as they explore the different colors we have to offer!
One of my favorite thing about this season is collaborating with new wedding vendors. We provided flowers for a Baltimore Bride shoot, met a host of new florists, and made friends with photographers. The beautiful photos for this post were taken by Naomi of Urban Row Photography; she's the one holding the babe in the picture below. She does weddings, family photos, etc. so if you're looking for an awesome photographer, you should definitely contact her!
At our most recent Bouquet Saturday in August, Naomi's daughter made this glorious bouquet:
And Jascha helped her wrap it to take home.
We always end Bouquet Saturday with a make-your-own bouquet session:
And if each person left the farm feeling just a little more surprised at how delightful life can be, then we did our jobs right.
I wish you all a surprise.
Laura Beth
