we have snacks

Dear Readers,

Come to our farm! See the flowers, make new friends, get some sun, learn new things. It's a beautiful weekend activity. Plus we often have snacks. Here is a full list of our events this summer.

I was so obsessed with our abundant crop of lavender last year that we're doing a whole class on it this July. You'll get to pick your own, and the designers at Local Color Flowers (aka Locoflo) will teach us how to use it in designs. Back by popular demand, Locoflo is also teaching a headwreath class. This is where I learn how to be a fairy princess every year, and I highly recommend it those of you who enjoy wearing flowers in your hair.

Photographer Lindsay Anne Belliveau will be back for our very first event of the season, a nature photography class for smartphone users! I can't tell you how much my Instagram posts have improved since I met her.

And, we're having TWO of our stroll-around-the-farm events, called Bouquet Saturdays. This is a super chill morning on the farm where you get a tour, make your own bouquet, and breathe in some flower scents to kick off your weekend.

Finally, if you like gardening or if you're a farmer/florist (professionals and amateurs both welcome), sign up for Blooms and Bouquets. You'll learn how to grow flowers, make floral designs, and manage a farm. Plus you'll get to meet some flower rock stars (Dave Dowling and Josh Flynn).

I wish you all a bunch of daffodils,
